What is the difference between Patio Doors & French Doors? What are Bi Fold Doors?

The main difference between Patio Doors and French Doors is in the design of operation. Traditionally French Doors will open outwards whereas Patio Doors will slide sideways. French Doors will open outwards exposing the full width of the opening. It can be misleading that many styles of Doors have become known simply as patio doors.
Bi Fold Doors take the options further, these very smartly fold on themselves, with each section folding in a concertina effect. Often they can be folded inside or out. Bi Fold Doors, fitted on runners seamlessly fold and slide at the same time, leaving you with much more space than traditional patio doors. These truly help to bring the outside garden and surroundings into the home.

What Are Panoramic Doors & the difference with Bi Folds ?

Panoramic Doors offer the latest in contemporary design appeal to open up your home to the outside. Panoramic doors offer some unique design features over and above Bi Fold Doors. For example Panoramic Doors do not have hinges or brackets, just a single traffic door whilst the remaining panels slide and then pivot out on a magnetic rail system. As each panel operates independently you have ultimate flexibility for positioning and more.
